The Professional Fraternity Council started in 2013 with just a few dedicated professional fraternities. The Council now works with 12 PFA recognized fraternities to put on events that benefit the professionally-minded Gauchos. We host socials, workshops, and service events every quarter to foster a sense of unity and fellowship. As of 2022, the Constitution was ratified.
The purpose of the Professional Fraternity Council is to facilitate collaboration and communication between the various member fraternities who make up the Council and to collectively represent the needs of those fraternities. The Professional Fraternity Council at UCSB exists to promote fellowship among professionally minded students from all majors and in various professional fraternities by hosting events aimed to improve professionalism, serve the community, and provide networking opportunities.
