EXECUTIVE BOARD (2024-25)
The Professional Fraternity Council (PFC) is the governing board for the 12 organizations that reside at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The Executive Board meets with designated representatives from each chapter, as well as Chapter Presidents, on a weekly basis to discuss the intersections and collaborations of our community.
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello everyone! My name is Yuehan and I'm the president of PFC this year! PFC is the professional fraternity council here on campus, and consists of twelve fraternities and sororities that emphasize leadership, professionalism, and service while embracing the community behind fraternalism. Some are united under specific career paths, such as pre-health, pre-law, or business, while other focus on community service and academic honors.

Personally, I joined PFC because I was very lost freshman year. I didn't really know what I wanted to do. Most of my friends were not in my major so I turned to PFC, hoping to find some guidance. What I found was a family of truly amazing people who not only helped me discover countless new career opportunities, but who also became some of my closest friends.

Through the year, our council hosts collaborative professional events like networking banquets, skills workshops, and community service opportunities. We also build inter-org connections and community through fun events like PFC olympics and socials. If you are interested, most orgs will be recruiting throughout week 0 and week 1, and many will be tabling in front of the library in the upcoming week. I will be there too, so feel free to come say hi! If you want more information or have any questions, check out our website.
Please feel free to reach out any time at pfc.council.ucsb@gmail.com.
I look forward to meeting you!
Best,
Yuehan Yu
